銳步將在比賽用運動鞋上採用伸縮感測器

美國銳步國際（Reebok International）與美國MC10於2010年12月9日宣佈，雙方就共同開發新一代比賽用運動服及器具達成了協議。據兩公司介紹，將採用MC10的可伸縮電子電路技術，在1～2年內開發出帶有各種感測器功能的運動鞋及運動服等。

MC10是一家風險企業，擁有在可伸縮透明基板上安裝帶有各種感測器功能及通信功能的電子電路的技術。據MC10介紹，能在可伸縮薄膜上安裝帶通信功能的心率儀、汗水的pH感測器、血壓感測器及LED等。IC雖然採用矽材料，但通過蝕刻將其厚度變得非常薄。

有關技術由共同創立MC10的共同創始人、伊利諾斯州大學材料學與工程學教授兼化學系教授約翰·羅傑斯（John Rogers）開發。
